Watch for me in the upcoming Philadelphia-themed anthology feature film “Hoagie” from Pennsylvania People Productions. I play Richard, a man with extreme OCD.

From the IMDB listing: “An anthology feature highlighting the city of Philadelphia, and the diversity of the people who live there. The five stories, written and directed individually by each member of Pennsylvania People, intertwine over the course of one night in The City of Brotherly Love.”

My section of the film was written and directed by the very talented Josh Phillips. My thanks to Josh for allowing me an incredibly high level of collaboration on the Richard character. The entire experience was both enjoyable and artistically rewarding.

We’ve just added more great performers to the bill for my variety show, the Five Minute Follies in the Philly Fringe, slated for Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 at the Rotunda, 4014 Walnut Street in Philadelphia.

New acts include the wacky and clever improv group Better Than Bacon , talented pop singer Chrissy Pryor, soulful chanteuse Tamara Anderson, and at last, a clown! We’ve been trying to book a clown since the first Follies back in May of 2010, so it is with great pride that we announce the addition of Hank Curry as Mr. Klop to the lineup for September 3rd.

I will be performing my very first standup comedy set on Friday, June 10th at the Tabu Lounge & Sports Bar, 200 S 12th Street (12th and Walnut) in Philadelphia, PA. My sincere thanks to comedian Alejandro Morales for making me part of the 8th Camp Tabu comedy night. Alejandro and his co-host Christine Meehan stage these nights once a month at the Tabu Lounge and they are always a great time.

We have some new faces and some old friends on the bill for the third installment of my variety show, the Five Minute Follies, scheduled for Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 at the Rotunda in Philadelphia. This edition will be part of the 2011 Philadelphia Fringe Festival and will feature:

Swing music and magic from “Big Daddy Cool” Johnny Dellarocca; hoop dancer Sarah Maccarelli; wacky singing duo The Lords of Liechtenstein; more vintage craziness from White Elephant Burlesque Society; the hilarious standup comic Jess Carpenter; the return of the great improv duo Grandma Hates Technology (featuring Mike and Jessica Weiss); our wonderful friend Belly Dancer Fatima Bassmah; storyteller Belinda M. Wilson; and a few verrrry interesting surprises.
